We arrived at the hangar on Friday and started to set up for our chores. Unfortunately the boat was positioned badly when it was put away in the fall.
The only way we can get our staircase close enough for us to get aboard is to run it up to the port side door, which is not exactly convenient, but we will manage

Then it was time to bring in all the tools we will need for this weekends work. Then go and get groceries for Friday Saturday and Sunday. No sense driving all the way out here if we can't put in at least three days work. Ken was unable to work for us this weekend, so Dan and I were on our own.
I had a major clean-up to do in my fridge. Somehow the door got closed when we left. I always put a rolled up tea-towel in the door to keep it from closing, but somehow the towel got moved and the door got closed. YUCK!! What a mess of mold. That was chores # 1. Lots of bleach and soap and hot water.
Dan got the hull scraped and prepped for the bottom paint that has to be put on before we launch.
I try to help where I can, but most of his stuff is beyond my abilities. The only thing I can do is a lot of getting him this, and handing him that.
My main accomplishment this weekend was to cook and clean. I won't work on sewing canvas until later in the process.
WELL, WE ARE OFF TO A GOOD START
