THE JOURNEY HOME

We took our time coming home this year as it was the first time our daughter Elizabeth had ever driven on a long journey like that.  Our trip consisted of McAllen to Round Rock, just north of Austin the first day.  Day 2 was on to Oklahoma City.  Day 3 we made Council Bluffs and Day 4 we were in Grand Forks.  That made our last jaunt, the next day, an easy one to the border and home, as we had a lot of running around and errands to do before we got home.  

 

We took our time and went out for dinner in fancy restaurants each night.  It made it a long but pleasant trip home.  

 

We really enjoyed ourselves.  

It's a good thing we enjoyed that, because it was not a  pleasant home coming for us when we arrived at the beach house.  

WE ARRIVED HOME TO A BROKEN WATER PUMP AND A FROZEN WELL.  


OK!, I know. the pictures are not showing in my blog.  They show up on the computer that I created the blog on, but when I looked at it on my laptop the pictures are not there. They are pictures that Tracy Elizabeth took on her iphone and emailed to me, so I'm looking into what I can do about it. But meanwhile I think I better let everyone know I am aware of the problem.
