This is my attire when I leave the house nowadays. Anybody else looking like this much of an idiot?
My outings are few and far between. I try to hit my local Sobeys every Friday morning during their "first hour for seniors only". Then a stop at the drug store for any prescriptions, the Co-op for gas (not necessary very often these days), and the liquor store for my sanity medicine.
I know certain people are going to tell me that the gloves won't do any good as they still pick up and spread the virus. I know that but, as a reminder, they stop me from touching my face. And I wash them each time when I get home. As for the mask, I know that will not protect me accept for someone coughing right in my face. But, I wear that because as an ex-smoker I cough all the time and I don't like to frighten anyone.
I am sure getting fed up with this isolation. My kids and I are working on trying to set up a regular zoom get together. That is going to be a real learning curve for me which I hate, but I think it will be worth it.
