We are shocked and horrified to hear that our friend and
dock mate Bob Inkster has landed in the Health Sciences Center hospital with serious outcomes. It seems Bob has been living with type 2
diabetes for a few years now and complications from neuropathy have caused him
to have to have his left leg amputated just below the knee.
Dan visited him in the hospital yesterday and
his spirits were good, but he has a long road ahead of physio therapy, prosthetic fittings, learning to walk with a
prosthetic, etc. etc.. Cards, calls and
visits would certainly go a long way to help keep his spirits up during this
long therapy journey he is about to go on.
Right now his is on the 3rd floor in HSC. Keep him in your thoughts as we all look forward to seeing him at the
marina next summer.
