MARCH IS WINDING DOWN, AND WE ARE THINKING HOMEWARD

Well, our plans are finalized.  We will be leaving here on April 11th  and heading on up to Austin.  I will be driving Dwight's van.

Dan and Sea-enna will be in our truck.

Normally Dan and I shifting off driving can make the 2000 miles down here in 2 1/2 days, but this time we are not going to be pushing it, planning only to average 350 miles per day.

That should be under 200 miles in the morning and the same in the afternoon, with a nice long one hour break each day for lunch.  This is the first time we have ever made this trip with two vehicles.  So we have a set of Walkie-Talkies for communication.

Our plan should bring us into Fargo on April 15th and we will meet up with Dwight in Pembina on April 16th.

THIS SHOULD PROVE INTERESTING

PLAYING BRIDGE

This year I have gotten involved with the ladies that play bridge down here in Paradise Park.

I learned to play at work and used to play every day on our lunch hour for years and I really enjoyed it.  But that was back in the late 70s and early 80s, so I had forgotten a lot.

But it's slowly coming back to me and I am learning to enjoy it all over again.  Now I want to find a group to play with once a week when I get back home.  Just to keep in practice and re-hone my skills, so that I am ready to play with these ladies when I get back next fall.

IT'S NOT EXACTLY A SPORT, BUT IT IS AN ACTIVITY

THE WEATHER HAS FINALLY IMPROVED

It has finally stopped raining so we decided to plant the palms that I bought for the Patio.

They won't survive the summer without being planted and as our lot it totally concrete, Dwight's lot it getting them.

We have placed them near his Patio area.

Maybe as they gain a little height they may provide a little shade and privacy to his Patio.

THEY LOOK VERY NICE.  I HOPE THEY THRIVE.

THE LAST DANCE WITH "THE AGENCY"

On Friday night a number of us folks from Paradise Park went to see "The Agency" at their last dance of the season.

There was a great turnout as there always is for "The Agency" (hard to get a picture, as no one ever stops moving when the Agency is playing) .

Having never been to "Tropic Star" RV park where the dance was held, I was amazed at how Huge the dance floor was.

There was Milt and Barb

Dan and I

And Claudine and Robert at one table.

And a couple of tables over were another whole gang from our park. As well as friends scattered here and there through out the hall that we ran into.

A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL
