This was our first dance of this Winter Season. We met up with Sharon and Casey and a group of their friends from Siesta Village.
We had a really great time and are looking forward to a lot more of this.

OUR MARINA HAS BEEN SOLD
Here we are down in Texas and we have heard from boating friends back home that the Marina, where we live on our boat all summer, and store our boat all winter, has been sold.
We kinda knew that the owner was looking forward to retiring, but that rumour had been out there for quite a while, with nothing ever really happening. So, we knew it was coming, but it is still a bit of a jolt, with everyone wondering, "What's going to change".
One thing I have learnt in all the years of working and watching the firm that I worked for evolve, change and grow is, "Nothing of real value is ever lost during change".
So, we the clients (boaters) are the real value in the Marina, so I'm sure the new owners will want to keep us all happy. I don't think that will be too hard, as we are usually a pretty happy lot.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ARE UP
One by one we are checking off the to-do list of things we need to do since we got down here to Texas.
Our leaking roof kinda took priority over everything we had on our list, then I've ordered, returned and re-ordered my freezer.
Once Thanksgiving was over the next thing on the list was Christmas Decorations.
Now I am cleaning windows. One each day, I should be done in 11 days. It's not just windows though, each windows needs to be cleaned inside and out and each one has a disgustingly dirty Venetian Blind and everyone knows how hard those are to take down, clean and put back up as all the blades stick together when you are trying to wash them grrr. I just went through all that on my boat this summer.
OH WELL, AT LEAST IT LOOKS CHRISTMASY NOW
