TIME TO START PLANNING FOR ST. PATRICK'S DAY

It's time to pull out all my St. Patrick's Day decorations and see what I have and decide what else I need.

I have re-arranged things to create a nice big table, plus a neighbour has offered to loan us a folding table.  So I'll need a couple of green table cloths.

Then we have to count how much booze we have and figure out how much booze we need.  That includes my recipe for the house special "Irish Car Bombs".

Then it's time to choose and plan the food trays and snacks.

So, there is lots to do between now and Monday.  And there is a lot going on in the park this weekend as well.  So we are going to be busy.

SATURDAY NIGHT DANCING

Last night we went to Sharon and Casey's Park to go dancing.  "The Agency" was playing at their "Siesta Village"  and that is one of our favourite bands.

Sharon and Casey were the coordinators for this event, so they got tickets for the six of us, that usually go dancing together, and off we went.

We were greeted at the door by "Tex Maslow", who was working the door, at the time.

It was a very enthusiastic crowd, and a crowded dance floor, which always adds to the fun.

We all had a really good time, as we always do when we go to see this band.

It was another GREAT night of Dancing with "The Agency."

"Thanks Guys", we really enjoyed it.

MY PLANTS HAVE SURE TAKEN A BEATING THIS YEAR

It has been really hard on my plants with these extreme swings in temperatures that we have had this year.  Poor Dan, has had to put them in and out of the shed a few times, with threats of frost.

We actually only got frost once, but these are tropical type plants and they don't take kindly to this cold weather even if it doesn't freeze.  So I keep on having to trim the browned edges off of them.

I think I am going to look for artificial plants for my patio for next year.  That is, if I can find some realistic looking ones.  Then I wont have to replace them each year, but for now I will trim and spruce these ones up as best I can for the rest of this year.

THIS IS NOW ONE OF THE THINGS I DON'T LIKE ABOUT TEXAS

ANOTHER COLD DAY HERE

Today the high is only going to be 50, so we are hold up in the trailer watching TV.  I haven't even gotten out of my PJ's.  Tomorrow it's supposed to be back a little warmer, around 60 and into the 80s by Saturday.

The couples costumes were fantastic.

We had a Frisbee throwing contest.

And a special appearance by our parks very own "SUPREMES"

Lots of fun and dancing a plenty of laughs.

WE ARE VERY EXCITED, WE HAVE MORE COMPANY COMING

We love spending our winters down here in Texas.  And we love to share it with others.  It was wonderful having Gord and Ellie come and visit.  Now it looks like we are going to have some more company.

Our company is expected in time for our annual St. Patrick's Day party.  So, we will get our other trailer out of storage so that we have lots of sleeping accommodations.

It should be lots of fun.  We are looking forward to it.

IT'LL BE A FUN TIME
