TRAILER 1 IS READY FOR SUMMER

Dan has put all the foil insulation on all the windows in Dwight's trailer.  Check.

The slide is in. Check.

The water and electric is shut off.  Check.

Wheel covers on.  Check.

I think that is all that needs to be done.

BODY WORK

This week, Dan did a little body work on our truck.

His father was a body man and that is how Dan learned this special talent.  He sure knows how to keep that old truck of ours not only running well, but also looking good as well.

A professional couldn't have done any better.  It still needs another coat of clear coat, but it sure is looking good.

SOMETIMES MY HUSBAND REALLY AMAZES ME.

MARCH IS WINDING DOWN, AND WE ARE THINKING HOMEWARD

Well, our plans are finalized.  We will be leaving here on April 11th  and heading on up to Austin.  I will be driving Dwight's van.

Dan and Sea-enna will be in our truck.

Normally Dan and I shifting off driving can make the 2000 miles down here in 2 1/2 days, but this time we are not going to be pushing it, planning only to average 350 miles per day.

That should be under 200 miles in the morning and the same in the afternoon, with a nice long one hour break each day for lunch.  This is the first time we have ever made this trip with two vehicles.  So we have a set of Walkie-Talkies for communication.

Our plan should bring us into Fargo on April 15th and we will meet up with Dwight in Pembina on April 16th.

THIS SHOULD PROVE INTERESTING
